There are many benefits of beef tallow.
- Tallow is rich in saturated fatty acids.
- Tallow is a great immunity builder due to its antimicrobial properties.
- Tallow is amazing for your skin.
- Tallow is an energy-giving food. It is no wonder many of us experience drowsiness after meals due to the unhealthy vegetable oils used.
What I received was very grainy suet. I bought it for my hair and I LOVED how softening it was but I could never get rid of all the grains, no matter what I tried. It was very hardened that even rubbing in palms couldn't melt it. I tried melting, filtering, etc, and nothing worked. The only thing that worked was diluting the tallow VERY heavily with oil (40% tallow to 60% oil) which defeated the purpose. The pure tallow was softening but adding oil changed that. Ended up throwing it out due to all the struggling and labour just to use it. If you can render and cool your tallows properly so there are zero graininess, it would be the best tallow. I tried another tallow from a different brand which had ZERO grains and was very smooth but it was just not softening like the Natritional's I got. Oh well. The search continues.
I purchased the 3 x 375ml jars and received 300g jars instead. I am a repeat customer and this is the first time I have received jars like this which are a bit smaller. The conversion also only makes it 340ml which I paid for 375ml. I'm quite disappointed as I was not informed of the change and they are still advertised as 375ml.
I am so in love with this brand! The quality is genuinely outstanding. I've tried so many others before, even ordering from the States, but this one completely wins. To top it all off, it’s a local business, which I absolutely love to support. Their customer service is just as amazing as their products. Recommend 100%! 🩷
Note: They recently changed their labels from mL to grams, but the product weight and pricing are still the same.
